Steampunk Sculpture by Daniel Proulx
When i started to make jewelry , i knew that it was a starting point for something bigger .
So recently i pushed the limit of wire wrapping by making sculpture that would have as much details as my jewelry but on a much larger scale . Here I'm introducing the first few pieces . I plan to widen the collection with uncommon species of insect and deep sea creatures .

In my search for more unusual species , i recently discovered Ernst Haeckel. I really like the way he presented his drawings "Artforms of Nature" . Inspired by his work i decided to present my sculpture in a similar fashion .
Soon i will make some sculptures based on a few creatures pictured in some of the below Ernst Haeckel drawings .
